Full course description

This micro-credential explores four case studies that build upon the concepts introduced in Nuclear Project Management 1 and Nuclear Project Management 2, drawing on examples from both Canada and international contexts. Through expert-led interviews, students will deepen their understanding of Canada’s nuclear history and apply key principles of nuclear project management. Students will compare project management approaches in Canadian nuclear plant construction with those used in China and other countries. The course examines why nuclear projects often experience delays and cost overruns compared to other infrastructure projects and analyzes strategies to improve schedule and budget performance.

This micro-credential is supported by a facilitator who is available to answer learner inquiries and provide feedback on assessments.

Participants will receive a Level 1 micro-credential badge upon successful completion of this micro-credential. Participants may recieve a Level 2 micro-credential badge upon completion of all three (3) micro-credentials courses.
