Oct 13, 2026 - Nov 16, 2026
Full course description
Operational leaders make financial decisions every day that directly affect staff, programs, and the people supported by their organization. The Financial Literacy in Operational Leadership micro-credential course is designed to build the practical budgeting and financial decision-making skills leaders need to confidently manage resources within their department. Learners will develop a solid foundation in financial literacy and explore how funding models, policies, and budgeting processes shape day-to-day operations in developmental services. Through real-world examples and applied scenarios, participants will practice developing departmental budgets that align with agency budgets and strategic priorities, calculate staffing and program costs, and interpret key financial reports.
This micro-credential is supported by a facilitator who is available to answer learner inquiries and provide feedback on assessments.
