This self-paced orientation module provides an overview of security clearance in the Canadian nuclear sector. It is designed to build awareness of why security clearance exists, how it supports safety and public trust, and what it generally involves within Canada’s regulated nuclear environment.The module is intended for awareness and context only and does not prepare learners to apply for security clearance or guarantee eligibility. It helps learners develop an informed understanding of security expectations before pursuing roles in the nuclear sector. You will receive a module completion certificate at the end of the module.
